I'm a licensed mental health counseling (LMHC) and an adoptive mom who understands all too well how confusing navigating the complexities of life after adoption can be. I help adoptive parents improve their emotional wellbeing, understand their child's unique needs, and build sustainable support to improve the connection and relationship with their adopted children.

My Story
For most of my life I’ve been someone who cares deeply about people and relationships. I’ve always been drawn to helping others heal, which is what led me into becoming a trauma therapist. Then I became a foster mom and then adoptive mom. I love being a mom.
Like many adoptive parents, I eventually ran into moments that shook my confidence, second guessing my parenting, and feeling completely drained.
What I began to realize, both as a therapist and as a parent, is that adoptive parenting requires a completely different lens. It requires understanding trauma, nervous systems, attachment, and our own emotional triggers as parents. Very complex topics. The more I learned about how trauma impacts both children and parents, the more things started to shift.
As I began using these tools in my own home, I noticed real changes. I felt calmer and more grounded during hard moments. I understood my children’s behaviors differently, which helped me respond with more connection instead of frustration. That experience reshaped my passion and the work I do today.
Now I help adoptive parents learn the same tools and insights that helped transform both my work as a therapist and my life as a parent. My goal is to help parents move out of burnout and self doubt and into a place where they feel more confident, more regulated, and more connected with their children.
